Ok guys, help me out

E-mail Print PDF

Alright, I've notified several of my friends about this site now, and would like your input about the site. What's good, what's bad, what's i need that it doesn't have, what's it have that it doesn't need?

The heart of the whole thing is the Community section, where people can talk about what they're up to and see what everyone else is doing.

Hopefully it'll help people find rides, hiking partners, etc. and also help keep us all up to date on events, trail conditions, and things like that. Anyway, fire away. Leave your feedback in the  Site Improvements & Suggestions section of the forum.

Thanks,
Troy

My vision is for this to be a place for Oregonians to find people who enjoy similar recreational activities and to coordinate trips together. As a person who moved to a new town not too long ago, it's often been difficult for me to find people to go kayaking/biking/hiking/snowshoeing/etc with. Many times these sports are much safer and more fun when you go with at least one other person, and sometimes it's nice to have multiple people so you can shuttle vehicles (kayaking, downhill biking).

ORoutdoor.com can be a place to find other people similar to yourself who are looking to enjoy Oregon's beautiful and exciting outdoors to their fullest. Anybody up for some backcountry snowboarding this weekend?
